Epona & Oak is owned and operated by sisters Leeann, Cheryl and Katie Hynes. The concept for the store came from the Hynes sisters' long-time desire to start a family business that combines their individual experience in retail, service and wellness. All three are strong believers that a business should be run responsibly with regards to the health of both the environment and the community.
We hope that you will find Epona & Oak a place that supports local artisans, provides wellness support to the community and promotes earth-friendly products and business practices.
Cheryl Hynes NCLMBT#7425 is a nationally certified massage therapist. Her focus at Epona & Oak is on relieving stress and pain and on promoting wellness through a number of massage modalities, including, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Trigger Point Therapy.
Katie Hynes is a certified Reiki Master with over twelve years experience in Social Work. Her focus at Epona & Oak is to help clients alleviate stress and tension and improve general well-being through balancing energies.
Leeann Hynes is the owner/designer of Stir Studios jewelry, a member of the Raleigh Handmaidens and a co-producer of the Handmade Market. Her mission as the buyer for Epona & Oak is to stock the shelves with artistic handcrafted items from both local and national designers.
